Dr Paul Colbrook undertook his medical degree in London, and successfully acheived Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK in 1992. Getting itchy feet, Dr Colbrook worked as a medical officer in PNG, a “flying doctor” in the Northern Territory, a GP in North Queensland and in the Queensland Health public hospital system. Settling in Brisbane with his family, he joined the practice in 2012, and is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Paul Colbrook enjoys all aspects of General Practice. Moreover, he is interested in the early detection and management of skin melanoma and other skin cancers. Dr Colbrook undertakes ongoing training to maintain and update his knowledge and skills in this area. In additon to this, he tutors medical students from the University of Queensland.
