Dr Paul Chee is a consultant Dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists since 2003. He studied Medicine at Newcastle University and graduated with Honours. Research interests include the genetics of skin diseases and he was awarded a Master of Medicine degree from Sydney University in 2005. He spent a number of years in Emergency and General Medicine at Prince of Wales Hospital and trained in Dermatology in Sydney. He is currently in private practice and is a Visiting Medical Officer appointed to the Hunter New England Health Service. Since 2010, he has been Director / Department Head of Dermatology at the John Hunter Hospital and Royal Newcastle Centre. His present interests include general dermatology, and the diagnosis and specialist medical and surgical management of skin cancer, melanoma and immune disorders.
