Dr Oshadhi Abeydeera MBBS (QLD), FRACGP Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (Monash University) Dr Oshadhi Abeydeera is a dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to delivering patient centred care. She has 21 years’ experience as a doctor including 17 years of General Practice experience. She joined Kenmore General Practice in 2007. Dr Oshadhi enjoys all areas of general practice. Her Special interest areas include women’s health, preventive medicine, diabetes and chronic disease management, paediatrics and travel medicine. Education and training background. Dr Oshadhi graduated from University of Queensland in 1996 and completed her Internship attached to the Royal Brisbane Hospital. She then moved to Sydney to broaden her clinical experiences and worked at Royal North Shore Hospital and Westmead as a Resident Medical Officer. Dr Oshadhi’s love of General Practice led her to training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and she worked at various general practices in Sydney as a General Practice Registrar. Following successful completion of her FRACGP, Dr Oshadhi worked as a General Practitioner in Lower North Shore Sydney. Her dedication to her chosen career led her to further study in General Practice through Monash University focussing on Women’s Health, Preventive Medicine, Dermatology and General Practice Research. She obtained her Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine with distinction. Dr Oshadhi moved back to Brisbane in 2005 to be close to her family roots in Kenmore and has been working at Kenmore General Practice since 2007. She is married with two teenage children and when not busy involved in their various activities, she loves to find time for yoga and nature walking.
