Dr Omar Ahmad graduated in Medicine from the University of Tasmania in 2000 and completed his training in Neurology in 2009. He was employed as a Stroke Fellow in 2006 and was the Chief Medical Registrar at The Canberra Hospital in 2009. He has gained further clinical and research experience in Scotland. His main interests are in cerebrovascular diseases and movement disorders, although he has clinical expertise in most areas of Neurology. Dr Ahmad is a Consultant Neurologist at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. He is actively involved in teaching of medical students at the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School (SAHCS) of The University of Sydney.
