Dr Nurun Naher is our female general practitioner who has 28 years of medical practice experience .
Before beginning work at Kuraby station surgery she worked in general practice at Rockhampton and Blackwater and prior to that served the Rockhampton community at the Rockhampton Base Hospital for many years. Through Dr Naher’s work in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department and in general practice she has cared for the wellbeing of hundreds of local mums and babies. Dr Naher has practised as a doctor in many parts of the world including Asia, South America and the West Indies.
This extensive travel and years of practice has armed Dr Naher with insight and expertise that is undoubtedly unmatched by many, especially in her area of special interest– women’s Health ( Pregnancy, Gynae, Sexual and Reproductive medicine). As her patient you will receive extraordinary service with a caring touch.
Dr Naher is fluent in English, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu.
