Dr Nindhi Ahilan graduated from the UNSW in 2004 with Honours. She studied Ayurvedic Medicine in Kerala in 2003 as part of a medical elective. She went onto complete further hospital training at Concord Hospital, Canterbury Hospital and Broken Hill Base Hospitals. She completed her training as a general practitioner in 2010 having worked in Tamworth, Windsor, Blacktown, Breakfast Point and Pymble. As a result she has extensive experience in a range of health conditions. She began further training in Nutritional and Environmental medicine in 2013. She is a member of ACNEM (Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine) and A5M (Australasian college of Antiageing Medicine) and is continually expanding her knowledge base in order to help you. She is also an examiner for the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners)
Nindhi has a special interest in Gut Health – which includes food intolerances and gut dysbiosis and how this manifests in a number of ways. Nindhi also has an interest in Hormonal health – Womens health, Andropause, Bio-identical hormones, Thyroid, Adrenal health, Anti ageing medicine and Longevity, Chronic disease management incl Diabetes and Insulin resistance and weight management.
She is a mother of 3 and understands first hand the work life balance challenges and how this can impact on your health. She is pragmatic in her approach. Her primary focus is finding the root cause of disease and helping you to heal yourself. Health is a journey, her mission is to find the best health outcome for you.
