Following graduation from Bristol university England in 2010 Dr Nikki completed her internship in southern England and gained skills in medicine, surgery, paediatrics, diabetes and palliative care. She then moved to Brisbane to work in emergency medicine. Following on from this she returned to the UK to complete her general practice fellowship and gained further skills in obstetrics, womens health and elderly care. Having recently completed her fellowship Nikki had always wanted to return to work in Queensland enjoying the outdoors lifestyle and friendly laid back Aussie culture and returned to work as a GP on the Gold Coast this January.

Nikki describes herself as a personable, friendly GP who enjoys the job because of the variety of people she gets to meet every day and the stories they have with them. She likes to practice “whole person” medicine and in particular enjoys womens and child health, sexual health and also likes to run a travel clinic with appointments available on request. She has travelled extensively herself including trekking in the himalayas and is an advocate of promoting healthy lifestyle and fitness as a way of improving health. On her days off Dr Nikki enjoys running, swimming, hiking, camping and photography.
