Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (University of Sydney) Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) After competing my medical degrees in 1997, I worked in Nepean Hospital, entertaining thoughts of becoming a specialist physician or paediatrician. However, I loved all fields of medicine, and couldn’t confine myself to just one!

So, I entered general practice in January 2000. I was privileged to join Castle Hill Medical Centre a year later, lured by its reputation for providing the highest quality of medical care. Here I have been able to build a practice based on the belief that prevention is better than cure, planning for future well-being rather than solely reacting when health fails.

I revel in paediatric, adolescent and family medicine, but I enjoy caring for folk of all ages. Over the years I have fostered interests in childhood vaccination, adolescent and travel medicine, and men’s health. I am also experienced in occupational medicine, including specific accreditation in InjuryNET, and Railways. Teaching has become one of my passions. I have been involved in local “GPs in Schools” programmes, and I train medical students through the University of Western Sydney.

I believe that ongoing medical research is crucial for maintaining high quality healthcare, and I often support high quality medical research projects, for the benefit of my own patients and the wider community. I have been recognised with specialist registration as a General Practitioner.

I love working as a GP.

When not at work, I love spending time with my wonderful wife and four school-aged daughters. I enjoy bush walking, native gardening, Australian fauna, fine chocolate, and travel.
