Dr Nick Russell was born and raised in Adelaide. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours at the University of Adelaide, and worked as a Structural Engineer for two years. He then undertook a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Flinders University, and quickly discovered the significant value of engineering principles in orthopaedic surgery. He completed orthopedic advanced training in South Australia & Northern Territory with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and subsequently undertook specialty fellowship training at the world renowned Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr Nick Russell has visited a number of Centres of Excellence throughout Europe, and worked with some of the world’s best foot, ankle, knee and hip surgeons. He has extensive experience in managing arthritic, traumatic and sporting injuries, and tailors comprehensive treatment to the individual needs of each patient. Special interest in disorders of the lower limb, including foot, ankle, knee, hip, and general trauma.
