Dr Nicholas Harvey was born in Sydney. He went to school in New South Wales and England, then studied Medicine at the University of Sydney, including a term working in a rural hospital in Nepal.
He worked as a Medical Officer in Newcastle and Hobart Hospitals, then spent 2 years working as a locum in New Zealand. He was the doctor with the first group of Australians to travel through Tibet, exploring the North face of Mt Everest. He gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sutherland Hospital, then he worked in General Practice from 1987, and has worked as a GP in Auburn from 1993.
His interests are minor surgery , travel medicine and the care of the elderly in our society.
