Neil Phillips studied medicine at University of Melbourne, graduating in 1980. He then joined the Family Medicine Program doing 3 years of Residency at Box Hill Hospital before moving to Ballarat. He spent 27 years in Ballarat in General Practice spanning most aspects from Obstetrics to Aged Care. After his family had grown up, Neil and his wife made the sea-change to Torquay in 2011 and Neil joined the team at Surfcoast Medical Centre in March 2012. Neil’s medical interests include Paediatrics, Aged Care and complex medical problems associated with Diabetes and Cardiac disease. When not at work, Neil enjoys anything to do with sport but in particular golf, cricket and water sports. He also enjoys cooking and walking the family dogs.
