Originally trained in the UK, Dr. Makmahi was admitted to the Royal College of General Practice with distinction in 2007. Beside an extensive range of experience that includes chronic disease management, expedition medicine, he also has an active interest in medical journalism, and is a current editor of Australian Doctor Magazine.
