Myriam is a gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon at Canterbury hospital.

She is calm, patient, compassionate and culturally sensitive. She takes the time to listen, to offer treatment options, and to provide clear communication and advice to patients and their families, in order to empower women to make informed decisions, and to tailor her care to the individual woman’s need to achieve an optimal clinical outcome. Myriam is a postgraduate Fellow in Complex and Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery as part of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) Society. She has extensive experience in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology, having worked as a Urogynaecology and Laparoscopic Fellow at St Vincent’s Hospital, and as Gynaecology Fellow at the Sydney West Advanced Pelvic Surgery (SWAPS) unit.

She graduated with First Class Honours from the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She has continued devotion to self-education, having completed the Master of Surgery (Advanced Gynaecological Surgery) at UWS and the Master of Women’s Health Medicine at UNSW. She regularly presents at national and local conferences and has been the author of papers published in peer-reviewed publications.
