Moya graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1986. She has worked both in London and Sydney and has a wide range of experience in both Paediatrics and Women’s Health. As well as pursuing a career in general practice, Moya has worked in paediatric emergency, community paediatrics and recently completed 3 years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Manly Hospital. Moya is fully trained in IUCD insertion (including Mirena) and Implanon insertion/removal and participates in Shared Antenatal Care (private and public). Moya is also actively involved in medical student teaching and has a conjoint appointment as senior lecturer at the University of Notre Dame whilst also completing a Masters of Health Professional Education. Outside of her busy week, Moya plays regularly with several community orchestras and The Australian and NSW Doctors Orchestras.
