Dr Momia Teariki-Tautea has gained a wealth of experience since graduating from the University of Papua New Guinea in 1987. He worked in the PNG Military as a defence doctor before moving to Australia where he completed postgraduate studies in paediatrics and tropical medicine and worked as a paediatrician for 10 years. Momia completed his general practice training and has been practicing as a GP for 15 years. Momia's special interests include antenatal care, mental health, paediatrics and tropical medicine. He also has a special interest in women's and men's health, skin conditions and travel medicine. Momia is a keen rugby league fan and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
