Dr Mohammad Hossain has been practicing medicine for over 27 years. He completed his studies at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1990 and has since spent 10 years working in South Africa before relocating to Australia. He has worked in the areas of general surgery (including plastic and reconstructive surgery), paediatric care, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology and emergency medicine before moving into general practice. Mohammad joined the Fairfield Chase Medical & Dental Centre in 2014 and he has a particular interest in many areas such as antenatal care, cardiology, chronic disease management, infectious disease, men's and women's health, minor injuries and surgery and paediatrics. His interests further include refugee health, respiratory medicine, sexual health, skin & cosmetics and travel medicine. Outside of work, Mohammad enjoys travelling, reading books and cricket.
