Dr Aciu is a female psychiatrist with more than 10 years of experience in Psychiatry. After completing her primary medical qualifications (MBBS) in Romania (Institute of Medicine Timisoara) she worked for a couple of years as a general practitioner before moving to Australia with her family.
Dr Aciu received training in Psychiatry in Australia and in 2017 after the completion of her training she obtained the Fellowship of Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). MIRCIULINA works both in the public and private health practice and is actively involved in the medical education and the supervision of psychiatry registrars.
Dr Aciu is a general adult psychiatrist with special interest in: mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders and perinatal psychiatry. She has extensive experience and knowledge having worked in a variety of settings over the years: inpatient/ outpatient clinics/ Emergency Department/Community Rehabilitation Unit/Acute Care Teams and Homeless Team. She is a member of the Australasian and The International Marce Society for Perinatal Mental Health. MIRCIULINA offers evidence based psychopharmacology treatment and management interventions tailored to the individual’s needs. MIRCIULINA speaks English and Romanian.
