Dr Michelle Johnston has lived and worked as a GP in the Sunshine Coast hinterland for 15yrs, after moving from Sydney with her family. She has three teenage and young adult children and enjoys most outdoor activities, especially horseriding. Michelle is an examiner for the Royal Australian College of GPs and has been a Director of the Sunshine Coast Division of General Practice (now Focus Health) for the past 10 years. She enjoys the broad range of General Practice care but has a particular interest in child and adolescent, and preventive health.
