Dr Gajus has been working at the practice since 2006.
She studied Medicine at the University of New South Wales, graduating with first class honours. She decided to study ophthalmology as she is fascinated by the eyes.
She trained at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH) in Melbourne. She trained in all medical and surgical aspects of ophthalmology. In her final year there, she worked as the Senior Registrar and the Risk Manager of the RVEEH.
Dr Gajus now works exclusively in the Illawarra with admitting rights at the Wollongong and Shellharbour Public Hospitals, as well as Wollongong Day Surgery and Figtree Private Hospital.
Besides English, Dr Gajus is fluent in Indonesian. In her spare time she is involved with the local church and loves learning new things, spending time with her family and dog, and enjoys art and music.
