Dr Cronk graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994 and underwent training in Medical Oncology at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. She has also completed further studies to obtain a Masters in Public Health. Dr Cronk worked as a Medical Oncologist for Cancer Research UK, Leeds, before returning to Australia in 2005 to take up a consultant position at Nambour General Hospital. Over the time since, she has consulted at Nambour General Hospital, Gympie Hospital and in private practice on the Sunshine Coast.

Dr Cronk has experience treating a broad range of solid tumour malignancies, with areas of interest including breast cancer, gastrointestinal and urological malignancies. She has been active in improving cancer clinical trial access on the Sunshine Coast and promoting quality, multidisciplinary care for her patients.
