I completed my degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1994 at UWA. Since graduating, I have worked Read More at Royal Perth Hospital in many different areas of specialty, but my love of women’s health led me to King Edward Memorial Hospital where I completed my Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I have also completed 4 years of training in General Practice and gained my fellowship in 1999.
Over the years, I have developed special interests in women’s health including antenatal, post natal, contraception and menopause, mental health, preventive and general medicine, but I thoroughly enjoy the wide spectrum of general practice. A very important part of general practice is ongoing education which is something I enjoy and continue at every opportunity. I have worked in some wonderful general practice settings and since 2010, have had the privilege of working with the amazing team at Third Avenue Surgery. It is an honour and an absolute pleasure to work in General Practice and to develop long term relationships with patients. I am a wife and a mother to two children, Emily and Joshua, who keep me very busy with their different activities. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our German Shepherd Lola, who enjoys taking me to the park. In my spare time I enjoy time with family and friends, reading and keeping active.
