Michelle Bond is a local, born and raised in the Moreton Bay Region. Prior to studying medicine Michelle was a Paediatric Nurse working in the Royal Childrens Hospital in Brisbane. She moved to Geelong, Victoria to obtain her Medical Qualifications. After working at Caboolture Hospital as an intern and Mater Hospital as a resident doctor she decided to undertake specialist training in General Practice. This opportunity took her to the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney where she worked in various practices during her training. After obtaining her fellowship qualifications she spent almost a year travelling around Australia swimming, hiking and exploring remote locations.
Michelle has a passion for general practice and the role that it has in the community. She strives to empower people to live healthy lives. Michelle has a particular interest in preventative health and the care of families. She places great emphasis on good quality care and continuity. After joining the practice in September 2019, she is looking forward to becoming part of the Narangba community.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside and exercise. She also enjoys a nice cup of tea.
