Dr. Michael Joseph originally founded Blacksmiths Family Medical Practice in March 1981. Having successfully built and run his family-owned practice for 37 years, he has recently welcomed his daughter, Dr. Brianna Joseph as a colleague and co-owner of the business.
Being able to work alongside his family has always been a dream. His passion for his family unit translates to the high quality of care he provides his patients.
Dr. Michael Joseph has worked as a GP for over 37 years. He has always endeavoured to work closely with his patients to assess their overall health while simultaneously building a trustworthy reputation within the Blacksmiths community and Newcastle.
Dr. Michael Joseph enjoys all aspects of General Medicine. Having graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1978, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (with Honours). Dr. Michael Joseph has developed special areas of interest within his field, including Dermatology and Cardiology.
