Michael graduated with honours from the University of Queensland in 1978. He was awarded his post graduate F.R.A.C.P. in 1985 and commenced a Clinical Research Fellowship at The Prince Charles Hospital. Michael has been involved in research projects primarily associated with lung cancer and was presented with an Inaugural Clinical Research Fellowship by the Queensland Cancer Fund in 1986. Michael is a visiting Thoracic Physician at Nambour General Hospital as well as consulting at Memorial Avenue Specialists Centre on the Sunshine Coast.
