Melissa completed her medical studies at the University of New South Wales. During her hospital training years, she worked at St George Hospital, The Sutherland Hospital and Griffith Base Hospital, gaining a wide experience in different areas of medicine – including paediatrics, endocrinology, cancer care and rural emergency medicine. Melissa is passionate about general practice and preventative care, with special interests in Travel Medicine, Women’s Health and Paediatrics – completing the Diploma of Child Health in 2017. Melissa is recently married and enjoys being outdoors, travelling to new destinations and tending to her growing collection of plants at home.
