I was born in Singapore, grew up in Perth and was educated at Methodist Ladies’ College, Claremont

I studied Medicine at the University of Western Australia, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.

As a junior doctor I trained at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. I was then accepted into the Royal Australian College General Practice training program. I completed my Fellowship for post graduate GP training in 2002. As part of my GP training I worked in Pinjarra and enjoyed the experience of being a country GP.

I have also worked as a GP in Norwood, Adelaide for four years whilst my husband completed his Nephrology Fellowship and PhD in kidney transplantation.

Outside of medicine I enjoy travelling, music, recreational sport and spending time with my two children.
