Dr Mehrunnisa Shakeel is from Pakistan, where she originally worked as a General Practitioner before moving to Australia in 2007. Upon arriving in Australia, Mehru worked in the hospital setting before moving into General Practice in the eastern states. Mehru relocated to Mandurah with her family in 2018 to join the team at The Bridge Family Practice and Ravenswood Family Practice.
Mehru continues to expand on her knowledge regularly and has recently gone on to do additional study in Women’s Health (extensive course) as well as Intrauterine Device insertion (IUD) in Perth.
