Dr Matthew Alfredson is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. He was educated in the ACT and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is a full time staff specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital and is actively involved in the training of junior medical staff.
His special interests are hip and knee surgery including joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery and knee reconstruction. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive hip replacement surgery. Dr Alfredson is committed to providing his patients with a total management plan in a caring and compassionate way.
Dr Alfredson is happy to accept DVA and Workcover patients and to be contacted to discuss patient treatment and ongoing management.
