Dr Masi Njawaya is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Doctor. She is a Senior Registrar of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians in her final year of training.

Dr Njawaya’s musculoskeletal medicine skill set includes Ultrasound, Shock Wave Therapy, and therapeutic injection techniques including the use of Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP). She has published on the use of PRP in osteoarthritis and tendinopathy.

Dr Masi Njawaya is currently the doctor for Athletics Australia looking after the National Junior team. She has recently travelled with the team to Colombia for the World Youth Championships. Her previous appointments include: team doctor for a variety of rugby league and union teams (Sydney University FC Colts, Eastern Suburbs RUFC, Mounties RLFC, North Sydney Bears RLFC); Football ( A- & W-League); International Tennis events; AFL; Endurance events and Boxing.
