After Sydney Uni, hospital work, then Obstetrics in London, I completed GP training back here and then FACPsychMed. I speak French and a little Italian. I joined Hamilton Doctors in 2000. My particular interests are: travel medicine; pregnancy; adolescence; excision of skin lesions; musculoskeletal medicine and anything to do with children. I’m on the HNELHD Diabetes Clinical Network Stream leadership group and am involved in writing Heath Pathways (online clinical information for GPs). As a Conjoint Lecturer at the Uni, I teach in hospital and at the practice. I used to supervise GP registrars at Awabakal Aboriginal Medical Service, and am looking forward to having registrars here. I’m a VMO at John Hunter and work in High-Risk Endocrine Antenatal clinics. (Until the birth of my own children, I delivered babies and now have the joy of watching them grow up.) After hours, I participate in GP Access and work on management plans. Beyond work and school canteen, I love singing, music, yoga, bike-riding, gardening, going bush and hanging out with my gorgeous family.
