Dr Maria Haase graduated from University of Queensland and worked in rural hospitals and general practices for many years and has been practising at Cleveland Central Medical Centre for the past 17 years. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has an interest in difficult diagnoses, women’s health, mental health and comprehensive medical checkups. Dr Haase makes an annual trek to a Burma orphanage where she performs screening health checks on children and adults, and believes that this significantly hones her clinical skills in the absence of any technology.
