Dr Marcela de Galvez has been part of South Street Medical Centre since 2000. She graduated from University of El Salvador in 1974, upgraded her Medical Qualifications in Australia in 1996 and completed her Fellowship of General Practice in 2001. Special interests: Dr de Galvez is a very experienced GP with special interests in preventive health care and health promotion with active patient involvement. She enjoys helping patients with chronic disease management and provides GP Management, Team Care Plans and Mental Health Care Plans. Her interests include family medicine, women’s health, acupuncture, minor procedures and standard vaccinations. She also provides shared antenatal care and family planning including Implanon insertion/removal and mirena insertion /removals
