Dr Lynn Townsend (MBBS BSc(Hons) FRANZCOG) is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who strives to give you and your family clinical excellence and compassion on your pregnancy journey.
Lynn completed her obstetric and gynaecological training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick. She undertook a Fellowship with Ultrasound Care, where she also continues to practice. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney and was awarded the Royal North Shore Medal during her final year. Lynn also holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiology from UNSW.
Lynn is actively involved with mentoring and teaching medical students as a conjoint associate lecturer with UNSW. She holds membership with a number of professional associations including ASUM and SOMANZ.
Being a wife and mother of three beautiful and energetic daughters herself, Lynn has a real understanding and a genuine interest in all aspects of pregnancy and women’s health. Lynn is very pleased to be a part of the team at Goals for Women to provide individualised and comprehensive care.
