DR LUCY FRANCE graduated in medicine in the UK and subsequently trained as a GP in Sydney, attaining the fellowship of the RACGP. Her other postgraduate qualifications include the Diploma of the RACOG (Obstetrics) and the NSW Family Planning Certificate. She has also completed advanced training in community paediatrics. Dr France chaired the Shire Women’s Health Committee and co-ordinated the Shared Antenatal Care programme for Sutherland Hospital patients from 1995 – 1999. She remains actively involved. She provides shared antenatal care for patients attending the Royal Hospital for Women as well as Sutherland and St George Hospitals. She is also a member of the local regional Breastscreen Advisory Committee and the Kareena After Hours Medical Service Committee. Her other interests include dermatology, minor surgery and paediatrics.
