Lucy is a General Practitioner who grew up in Sydney, gaining her medical qualifications at the University of New South Wales. After graduating, she spent several years working in the hospital system gaining experience across many specialties, in particular Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics.
Lucy is passionate about all aspects of General Practice and she loves the variety of issues that she encounters on a day-to-day basis. She has a particular interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, minor surgical procedures and preventative medicine.
Lucy is an advocate of the importance of the mind-body connection and the impact of mental wellbeing on physical health. To help achieve a positive balance Lucy believes in the efficacy of mindfulness meditation, a technique that she is trained in teaching. Mindfulness practice can help people to be more present in the moment and less vulnerable to stress and anxiety.
