Louise began her career as a rural GP in South Gippsland, before moving to Sydney and working as a GP and medical educator. She settled in Canberra and joined Yarralumla surgery in 2014. Louise is an academic GP at ANU and a medical educator organising the training of new GPs in Australia. She has a long-standing clinical, teaching and research interest in mental health and runs national workshops for GPs in this area. She has three children, a spoiled cat and an interest in music.
