A previous career as a Research Scientist working in Munich and traveling a lot and skiing triggered an interest in people of many different backgrounds and their stories. This resulted in a decision to study medicine after returning to Sydney and working in a medical research area. Recognising the role anxiety plays in many presentations to GPs I obtained a Master’s of Psychological Medicine degree from UNSW. For my patients and myself I see exercise, healthy diet, connection to others and nature and work life balance as being essential for a state “wellness”
