Dr Lindy Poole graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1980. After further rural studies she and her husband Dr Jonas Kasauskas moved to Kingston SE in 1983 to be the sole GP’S with the full spectrum of rural medicine – own hospital/accident and emergency/obstetrics /minor surgery as well as general medicine.

Dr Poole’s interest in nutritional and complimentary medicine (integrative medicine) had its origin in that practice and has grown ever since. She moved from the country to become a partner in Stirling Medical Centre in 1996. She has a Fellowship of RACGP and has been a long time member of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (MACNEM).

She is accredited for obstetric shared care.

Outside interests include travel, bushwalking, wine (with food) and grandchildren!
