Linda graduated from medicine at the University of Sydney in 1982. She then studied her diploma of Obstetrics at St Margarets Hospital in 1986 and sat for her Fellowship of the FRACGP in 1996. She has been a keen GP trainer since the 1990’s and encourages medical students and registrars to look at general practice as a wonderful career . She has been in Hazelbrook for nearly 30 years. She and her husband have lived in the mountains for 35 years and have raised their family here .
Linda’s interests encompass the whole range of general practice from babies to the elderly . Linda is active in the Blue Mountains GP Network and sits on the board of GPSA (General Practice Supervisors Association ) . She is the chair of the NBMPHN Clinical Council and also sits on the board of the NBM LHD. Her interests away from the practice are trying to get fit (a life-long battle! ) .
