Dr Linda Byrne is a psychologist at Precision Brain Spine and Pain Centre. Dr Byrne specialises in the neuropsychological assessment of adults, children and adolescents with psychiatric, neurological, and educational difficulties.
Dr Byrne has over 15 years of clinical, research and teaching experience in the areas of neuropsychiatric disorders, neurology, brain injury, geriatric medicine and neuropsychological rehabilitation. Currently, Dr Byrne shares her time between Precision Brain Spine and Pain Centre and her work as an academic at Deakin University. Linda has completed a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology and a PhD in Cognitive Neuropsychology focussing on memory functioning in Schizophrenia.
Dr Byrne has recently published a book chapter on neuropsychological assessment of schizophrenia and another on the neuroscientific aspects of eating disorders.
Dr Byrne frequently presents her research at the national and international level and provides research and training workshops on psychological assessment.
