Dr. Li Yan is an experienced family doctor. She qualified for her primary medical degree and worked as an obstetrician & gynaecologist at a large teaching hospital for Women’s and Paediatric health in China.
Li moved to Australia in 2005 and subsequently obtained the AMC certificate in 2006. She brings a wealth of international, regional Victorian and metropolitan Melbourne experience in all aspects of women’s health to Ballarto Medical Centre.
Li finished her General Practitioner training and she is the fellow of RACGP college. She also holds the advanced diploma issued by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Li has a special interest in women’s health, antenatal care, contraception advice, family planning including implanon and IUDs insertion; she performs a lot of minor surgical and skin procedures at the clinic.
