Dr Leonie Todhunter is experienced in all aspects of general family medicine including women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, sexual health and antenatal care. As well as providing home care for existing patients who are too unwell or frail to attend the practice, Leonie also provides continuing care to existing patients who move into a Nursing Home. Leonie has extensive experience in gay and lesbian health and has catered for the health needs of patients with HIV infection, including in-home palliative care, since 1987. She is an S100 prescriber for HIV medications and can also provide PEP. Leonie is experienced in addiction medicine and has been a Methadone prescriber since 1992. She also prescribes Buprenorphine. These opioid substitutes are available only for existing patients of the practice. Leonie is also certified to perform Diving Medicals for recreational divers. As well as working at Greenslopes Family Practice, she also works two mornings per week as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Brisbane Sexual Health Clinic.
