Dr Hinchcliffe trained predominately in the country, both in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Prior to completing his GP training, Lane studied Paediatrics for three years and hence has a strong interest in working with children, teenagers and adolescents. Lane’s experience working with adolescents extends beyond the medical environment. Whilst studying medicine, Lane worked for a total of 5 years in boarding schools as a housemaster/ supervisor.

Lane also has a passion for rural and Indigenous medicine and has undergone a placement in a remote Aboriginal community. Lane has added experience and qualifications in mental health and sexual health. Lane worked for 18 months in a community mental health service providing emergency assessments. Lane is a s100 prescriber and trained in Implanon and Mirena insertion.

Outside of work, Lane enjoys music, theatre and cycling. Lane is passionate about health and empowering individuals to embrace their independence and individuality.
