Dr Koya Ayonrinde is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist working exclusively in the Southern Suburbs of Perth. His main consulting rooms are at the Antony Street Specialist Centre in Palmyra. He has private practice rights for admission of in-patients and performs endoscopic procedures (Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy) at SJOG Murdoch Hospital.
Dr Ayonrinde is also a consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist and Endoscopist at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Bentley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital. His main clinical interests are General Gastroenterology and Hepatology, including clinical endoscopy, colorectal cancer and polyp screening, peptic ulcer disease and upper gastrointestinal bleeding, coeliac disease, nonalcoholic and alcoholic fatty liver disease, chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, autoimmune and viral hepatitis.
He is a clinical senior lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, UWA and an Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University. His research interests include nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, colorectal cancer and polyp screening, clinical audit, liver fibrosis, upper gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding.
