I grew up in the Blue Mountains and the far North Coast. I came to Newcastle in 1989 to study Medicine and trained in hospitals in Newcastle and Maitland. I then took time out to study ministry and complete a Cert IV in Christian counselling. My special interests are women’s health, aboriginal health, geriatrics and mental health. I enjoy reading books and watching a good movie and spending time with my husband (the other Dr Pratt) and our son. I love living in a community that supports one another and spends time together.
