Born and Raised in the Fremantle region, Kirsten initially completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Microbiology and Immunology with 1st class honours at the University of Western Australia.
After realising a desire to work more with people in the science field she embarked on a career in medicine and has not looked back. Since graduating she has worked at multiple tertiary hospitals throughout the Perth metropolitan region in a range of specialties including emergency, infectious diseases, general medicine, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecological medicine.
She enjoys the variety of General Practice, from small surgical procedures, women’s, men’s and children’s health as well as being proactive with preventative and evidence based care. She feels privileged to be able to provide individual-based continuity of care to such a diverse range of people.
When not working she spends time between gardening and exercising with her dog. She is passionate about the environment, and fills every holiday with a number of outdoor based adventures.
