Dr Kiran Phadke graduated with a MB, ChB (Hons) from Makerere University, Kampala Uganda in 1972, then trained at various Sydney Teaching Hospitals in Haematology and Medical Oncology. He completed his oncology training at CRC Unit at the University of England.
In 1991 he was appointed Medical Oncologist /Haematologist at Sutherland Hospital. Dr Phadke has subsequently done much to improve the delivery and quality of services to treat cancer in Southern Sydney and remains an active advocate in this regard.
