Dr Hsu graduated from the University of Melbourne. He completed his advanced training in respiratory and sleep medicine at Westmead, Bankstown-Lidcombe and Concord Hospitals. He is a Staff Specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, and General Medicine at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital and a Conjoint Lecturer at University of NSW. He is a local examiner for the Royal Australiasian College of Physicians. He is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of endoscopic lung volume reduction in patients with COPD. His main interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, general respiratory medicine and sleep medicine. Dr Hsu is also fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
