Since gaining my fellowship in Anaesthetics in 1989, I had a wide variety of appointments including 20 years as a VMO at Monash Medical Centre mainly in emergency surgery and 6 months as the Chief Anaesthetist in Solomon Islands. Currently I devote half my time as a VMO at Maroondah Hospital and the rest in private practice. My interest includes ophthalmic anaesthesia having performed over 10000 eyeblocks.
