Kavitha migrated to Australia 10 years ago with her husband and 2 young daughters. Kavitha originally came from Sri Lanka but went on to complete her undergraduate Medical degree in India and part of her Mental health postgraduate training in Oxfordshire, England, Kavitha continued to work in Mental Health speciality in Australia until 2014 when she decided to take up General Practice training in Rural SA.
Kavitha was fortunate to work in beautiful areas like Yankallila and Strathalbyn until she completed her Fellowship in 2017. Her special interests are Mental Health and Elderly patient care. Kavitha is also interested in Women’s health, children and adolescent health. Outside of her work, Kavitha loves to travel and spend time with her family.
